3. Our Role
0800 Easy Movers – Affordable Movers operates as both:
- A provider of moving services; and
- A platform that may facilitate bookings with independent or partner Movers.
Where a third-party Mover is assigned, that Mover is solely responsible for performing the service, including workmanship, timing, safety, and compliance with applicable laws. Affordable Movers does not supervise or control how third-party Movers perform their services.
4. Services
Services may include residential moves, commercial relocations, furniture transport, packing and unpacking, storage coordination, specialty item moves, and local or long-distance transport. All services are subject to availability, confirmation, and the information provided by the Customer.
5. Quotes, Bookings, and Payments
Quotes are provided based on the information supplied by the Customer and may be fixed-price or hourly as specified. Quotes may change if details provided are inaccurate or if additional services are required.
Payment terms, deposits, cancellation fees, and refund conditions will be communicated at the time of booking. Deposits may be non-refundable, particularly for late cancellations or changes.
Where Affordable Movers processes payment on behalf of a third-party Mover, we act only as a payment facilitator. Any disputes relating to service quality, delays, damage, or conduct remain between the Customer and the Mover performing the service.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding addresses, access conditions, stairs, elevators, parking, and item details
- Ensure items are properly packed unless packing services are agreed
- Arrange parking permits or access approvals if required
- Follow reasonable safety instructions provided by Movers
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, additional charges, or refusal to transport unsafe items.
7. Risk, Damage, and Insurance
Reasonable care is taken during service delivery. However:
- Fragile, antique, or high-value items are moved at the owner’s risk unless insurance is arranged
- We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond reasonable control
- Liability may be limited where inaccurate information is provided
Any claims relating to loss or damage must be raised directly with the Mover performing the service. Rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply as required by law.
8. Website Use and Content
Website content is provided for general information only and is offered “as is”. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.

Customer reviews reflect personal opinions. We are not responsible for the accuracy of reviews or any reputational impact arising from them.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Affordable Movers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of income, business, reputation, or goodwill.
Customers acknowledge that services may be performed by either our team or an independent Mover, and that Affordable Movers is not responsible for disputes, damages, or claims arising from services performed by third parties.
